Re: Error in the TBD of Dynamic tracks
Hi It is a long time since I added extra World files to a route but as I recall I was trying to merge 2 routes. I tried the "Merge Route" function in RouteRiter without success. You can find this in TSUtils. My second, but this time successful effort, was to add the tiles one at a time and...

Re: Error in the TBD of Dynamic tracks
Looking at your first image. 96 is in blue, but all the other point numbers are red. This might be because you have the point selected or is it a fault? Editing the tdb file by hand can lead to more problems but might be worth a try. First make a backup of your route. I still do this regularly, an o...

Re: Error in the TBD of Dynamic tracks
About the 1 minute 15 mark, you show 2 red numbers, 147 and 266. The third track has two yellow vertical lines, I don't like this.
Try to delete the track items at each end of the dynamic track, and then try again.

Re: Error in the TBD of Dynamic tracks
I think this has happened because you have placed the dynamic track and adjusted it to follow the path of yellow line. Then you have deselected it, this puts the shape into the tdb file and displays the yellow line. You have then reselected it, and without pressing Z to remove the track from the tdb...

Re: Using different maps
Thanks for the help. I have never created an overlay before. So I now use this to stick pins in along the route, to create markers for use in TSRE. I have found that if I load the Google Earth image rather than the current map image, I can follow the route fairly well. But it is good to have a back ...

Using different maps
I am starting a route where the track was closed in the 1960s. I can use TSRE to show the present day map for the area, but the track is not shown. I have found online a map from the late 1800s showing the area. https://www.archiuk.com/cgi-bin/build_nls_historic_map.pl?map_location=co10%209ln%20CO10...

Re: Strange spikes in my OR Route project
I am pleased that things are going well. The white gap in your image is probably caused by the tile for that region not having been generated. This is the reason that you can see below ground level in this image from my Swiss route. You will also notice that I have underground spikes, which cause pr...

Re: Strange spikes in my OR Route project
I hope I have attached my Tiles and LoTiles folders, and also an OpenRails screenshot from a similar position to your previous image.

Re: Strange spikes in my OR Route project
This is strange! Unfortunately I am not able to post screenshots at the moment, UKTrainsim is under a major repair. I have gone to the location shown on your picture. Both Google Earth and my route place this high on the mountain side, 2370m, to the south west of Nuria. Looking at 30 degrees as you ...

Re: Strange spikes in my OR Route project
Sorry I was wrong about buildings already modelled, strange setting on my Google Earth.
I have got the terrain in a route from Ribes de Freser to Nuria, but have not yet found the spikes.
I need to know location of picture and direction.
