I'm wondering if there is a way to have the TSRE consist editor show train information in imperial, versus metric? This would be helpful when determining train lengths and weights to match North American railway standards.
Cheers,
Jason

Hi Piotr,
So far so good. It would seem you have found and corrected the memory leak

Thanks Piotr,
I'll try it out. To answer your question about the terrain files, I manually changed the T files to look for DDS files.

Re: Perfomrance issues with version 6970 and 6971
Hi Piotr, I've sent you an email to your GMAIL address with a download link. The route i sent actually has few forest objects, and it has the same issue as one other I am developing. TSRE loads an enormous amount of data to memory, and it just keeps increasing to the point where the editor becomes u...

Re: Perfomrance issues with version 6970 and 6971
Hi Pitor, It seems to be most apparent on the routes with dense forest objects. The whole application grinds to a halt while It tries to load the contents of the tile. While a given tile might only be 800 objects, it would contain dense forest objects. One the routes I have which have little to no f...

Perfomrance issues with version 6970 and 6971
Hey Piotr, I've been having problems with the two most recent builds of TSRE. With both versions, the performance has dropped significantly since 6958, which is what I've stuck with. I have one scene I'm working on, with only 800 objects in the tile. With TSRE 6958, the scene uses about 400 megs of ...

Re: Selecting Player Service Cars
Sure, that is fine by me. I will mention again, that when setting up pick ups, the siding/track name doesn't show in the work order. It does when establishing drop offs though.

Re: Selecting Player Service Cars
Yes, you can. If you build a consist with engines and cars, you can select cars in your train to drop at specific locations. I tried sneaking a way to do it in TSRE by having TSRE "run" the activity, and tried selecting the cars in my train, but it didn't work. lol

Re: Selecting Player Service Cars
Thanks Piotr,
I also noticed that when you select to pick up cars at a location it doesn't always show that location in the Work Order screen when running the activity.

Jason

Selecting Player Service Cars
Hey gang,
When using the activity editor, is there a way to select cars in the player's service to drop at a location? At the moment, I only see a way to select static cars in the activity to drop at specific locations.
Cheers,
Jason
