How Do I Delete This "Phantom" Track?

I have a good track arrangement for this town,
but, what I think is a "phantom" piece of track, can't be selected or delete.

Any thought(s) on how to delete this "object"????

Stick a new track to it and keep it selected. In track properties choose hacks button at the bottom and use option to remove TDB vector.
