No, they are not. Just loaded the route:

Even if i uncheck the "track items" in tools (they disappear) and save the route they are seen and checked in tools again after loading the route for the second time.

You had to set this value to true in settings.txt:
renderTrItems = true
Comment it using # or set it to false.
