Re: Mtracks Track Database Alignment Error
Skew was originally for route builders who couldn't calculate approach angles over short distances and needed to line up pieces before the smaller sections like 0.2m were invented.... It's rare enough that not supporting it shouldn't be a huge loss.

Re: Mtracks Track Database Alignment Error
Interesting. Just a guess that skew isn't very common thus not tested much when TSRE was being developed.

Re: I need help with TDB
Can you clarify which DB you deleted? If it's the TDB, you'll need to manually re-select every track piece in the route for it to be operable. If it's the RDB, you should be able to restore that by clicking on road sections. Again, you'll have to click on every road piece you expect to function with...

Re: Multiplayer Editing Demo
Live editing with multiple people? Interesting.
Are there constraints i.e. world files can only be checked out to one person at a time?

Re: Bug on Switch passing
Welcome to an ongoing problem. You'll need to remove the actual junction (the track section with the red pole at one end) from the TDB (Z key) and re-add it to the TDB. Hopefully it will get the direction correct. Visually, you'll see the lack of a yellow line over the point/switch when the directio...

Re: Terrtext Size Management
I've always used a batch file to convert my Terrtex folder to DXT. I keep a copy of AceIt.exe in my terrtex folder, and run the following script: for %%f in (*map.ace) do ( aceit %%f.ace -DXT -q ) For comparison, I've got over 15,000 ACE files in each of the terrtex directories on two of my routes, ...

Re: Remove max value of 10 for StaticDetailLevel
I've been considering a couple different schemes... one is to continue iterating upward as I find need, but the bigger idea I'm toying with is taking a quasi-bitmask approach where the first digit and second digit have implied meaning e.g. 30-39 will have a third rail piece, 40-49 will have trolley ...

Re: Remove max value of 10 for StaticDetailLevel
That's great news...
Since there's no word when Goku will have the next build of the editor out, my route development will have to stay on hold for the time being.

Re: Using different maps
Going back about 15 years what I'd do was: 1) add the image into Google Earth as an overlay 2) set the opacity of the overlay low enough to be able to see both the base map and the image 3) stretch and position the overlay as needed to get major landmarks and existing roads to align with old feature...

Re: Transform error
Yep, I've experienced this also when copying pos, rot, and pos+rot.
