TSRE will just place the track in the route.

When you copied TSRE to the install folder did you actually click on the TSRE.exe so it can download the required files to work?
If you are just using the consist editor the install may not be complete.

Roberto, The "Programs" folder is, by design, protected by the Windows operating system which severely limits TSRE and many of the other programs we use from making changes to anything in the "Program" files. I would suggest that you move the MSTS content folders labeled GLOBAL, ...

Is there a way to get the TSRE Recent Items list to show only items that have actually been placed?
Clicking through the Objects looking for something fills it up and I can't find the item I was using just two minutes ago.

For multiple ref files to show you need to place the extra ref files in an "addons" folder in the route's root folder.
It only works for items already in the route's shapes/textures folders.
